Hey everyone! š
Wow, what a weekend it was! Iām still buzzing from all the excitement at Drag Illustrated's World Series of Pro Mod Pro Jr. Dragster Shootout 2025! This event is held at Bradenton Motorsports Park in sunny Bradenton, Florida so we even got to visit the beach. If youāve been following along, you already know this was one of the biggest events of the year, and Iām so proud to share that I finished 2nd in the Pro Jr. Dragster Shootout! šāØ
Let me tell you, this was not just another race weekendāit was *the* race weekend. The energy at Bradenton Motorsports Park was electric. From the roar of the engines to the cheers from the crowd, every moment felt like a dream. And being able to compete on such a huge stage alongside some of the best drivers in the Jr. Dragster world? That was the real honor.
The competition was fierce, and every round was a battle. My Jr. Dragster was dialed in, and I could feel all the hard work my team and I put in paying off with every pass down the track. Iāll admit, there were moments I was nervous (okay, maybe more than just moments š ), but I kept reminding myself why I love this sport. Itās not just about winningāitās about the thrill, the challenge, and the chance to push myself to be better every time.
Coming in 2nd place is such an incredible feeling. Of course, I wanted the win (who doesnāt?), but seeing the pride on my dadās face was everything. I canāt even put into words how much it means to me to represent Miles Custom Racing and all the amazing people who support me. A huge shoutout to Samuels Reynolds Law Firm for being my title sponsor at this eventāyou guys are the real MVPs for believing in me and our team! š
This weekend wasnāt just about racing; it was about memories Iāll carry with me forever. From hanging out with my fellow racers to meeting fans and seeing all the love from the crowd, I felt so supported and inspired. Drag racing is my passion, and weekends like this remind me why I work so hard to chase my dreams.
So, whatās next? Well, this is only the beginning of whatās shaping up to be an epic season. Iām more motivated than ever to keep pushing, keep learning, and keep chasing. I know Iāve got what it takes, and I canāt wait to see what the future holds for me and the team.
Thank you to everyone who cheered me on, whether you were at the track or following along online. Your support means the world to me!
Until next time, keep chasing your dreams and living life in the fast lane! š¦āØ
XOXO,
Danika
