First Time on Dirt: My Debut at Lancaster Motor Speedway

Okay… I’m officially obsessed.

This past weekend, I made my dirt track debut at Lancaster Motor Speedway, and it was one of the most exciting experiences of my life. Everything about it, the noise, the crowd, the feel of the car sliding through the turns, had my adrenaline through the roof.

And the best part? I finished 4th in my very first race. 🙌🏼

Going from drag racing to dirt track racing is a whole new world. I’ve spent years focusing on perfect reaction times, straight launches, and half-track speed, now I’m learning to throw a car sideways, find grip in the clay, and read the track lap after lap. It’s wild, but in the best possible way.

I won’t lie-I was nervous heading into the night. New car, new setup, new kind of racing. But once the green flag dropped, all of that disappeared. I just drove. Every lap felt more natural, and by the end, I was chasing down the leaders and grinning the whole time.

None of this would’ve been possible without my crew, my family, and our incredible partners who’ve supported me through this transition, Spud Inc. Straps & Equipment, Delta Plumbing, and JJM Pool Division. You guys keep me rolling (literally) and believing that I can do big things, no matter what track I’m on.

This is just the beginning of my dirt racing journey, and if my first race was any sign… I’m hooked. Thank you to Lancaster Motor Speedway for the warm welcome, and to everyone who came out, cheered, and sent messages after the race, it means the world. I can’t wait to get back out there, get faster, and maybe climb a few spots higher next time. 😉

Stay tuned for updates, photos, and videos from the race...because we’re just getting started on this dirt adventure.
